Iftar

Ramadan is a new beginning, for body and soul alike. Zakat, a charitable pillar of Islam, helps to reinforce the balance between the physical and the spiritual, and can give all cultures and communities a new beginning. In this spirit, Guidance Residential is running a contest on Facebook that will work with Islamic Relief to benefit a family in need.

We want to share our (and your) favorite Ramadan traditions, and we need your help to do that! Here’s how it works:

1. Post a picture of your favorite Ramadan tradition on Facebook
2. Tag @GuidanceResidential and include #RamadanWithGR
3. One or two posts (depending on volume) with the most Likes will win

What’s the prize? Charity! Weekly winners will be named the donor of a Ramadan food package from Islamic Relief worth up to $75. It’s that simple! Starting Monday, May 26th, we hope you’ll join us in sharing the love and the little things that make Ramadan such a special time of year. The more we share our traditions with the world, the more we will receive new and exciting traditions in return.

Ramadan Mubarak!
