MASCON Dec. 2025

Guidance Residential was a Diamond Sponsor of the annual MAS Convention in Chicago in December 2025. With an anticipated attendance of about 50,000 people, the convention offered inspirational talks from speakers like Imam Omar Suleiman, Dr. Haifaa Younis, Imam Suhaib Webb, and Dr. Yasir Qadhi. Visitors to our booth and our session learned about Islamic home financing and a brand new investment offering from Guidance Investments for accredited investors.

ISNA Chicago Aug.-Sep. 2025

Guidance Residential sponsored the 62nd Annual ISNA Convention near Chicago Aug. 29-Sep. 1, 2025 - one of the year's biggest events with speakers like Zaid Shakir, Suhaib Webb, Siraj Wahaj, Yasir Qadhi and Tamara Gray. Our Senior Vice Presidents Hussam Qutub and Abdessamad Melouane spoke in our session about myths and facts about Islamic financing and down-payment assistance for homebuyers.

ICNA Baltimore May 2025

Guidance Residential was a platinum sponsor of the ICNA Convention in Baltimore in May 2025. Tens of thousands of Muslims gathered to explore the theme "Standing Strong: An Identity Rooted in Faith." Thousands of people stopped by our booth, and two of our senior vice presidents presented a session on Islamic finance rooted in faith.

NOVA Home Buyer Seminar at ADAMS - Sep. 2025

Guidance Residential welcomed a packed house for a homebuyer seminar at the ADAMS Center in Sterling, VA, in September 2025. More than 500 people turned out to hear from CEO Kal Elsayed, shariah board member Yusuf Talal DeLorenzo, and Imam Mohamed Magid. Attendees learned how an Islamic mortgage works and how to find assistance programs to help.

Halal Money Conferences 2025

CEO Kal Elsayed gave the keynote address at Halal Money Conferences on the East and West Coasts in 2025. This event brought together crowds ranging from beginners to finance professionals to community leaders - all to discuss halal wealth, entrepreneurship, and ethical financial solutions.

IFESDC 2025 (May 21-22, 2025)

CEO Kal Elsayed spoke at the International Islamic Economics and Finance Conference for Sustainable Development (IFESDC) in May 2025 at The World Bank Headquarters in Washington, DC. The conference, themed "Eradicating Poverty and Enhancing Prosperity for Sustainable Development," brought together global experts from Indonesia, the USA, and beyond to discuss critical advancements in Islamic economics, finance, and related fields.

Harvard Islamic Finance Conference - Oct. 2024

CEO Kal Elsayed spoke at Harvard University on October 25-26 to discuss Islamic finance. The 2024 Islamic Finance Conference featured scholars and professionals exploring topics like Islamic wealth management and sustainable business practices.

Guidance Residential was proud to sponsor the "Keys to Knowledge" event held by Miftaah Institute and Qalam Institute in September 2024.

Shaykh Yusuf DeLorenzo at DarusSalam - Apr. 2024

Shaykh Yusuf DeLorenzo, a member of Guidance Residential's independent Shariah Supervisory Board, spoke in April 2024 at Masjid DarusSalam in Illinois. He talked about a global revival of Muslims re-establishing the institutions lost during Colonialism - including halal Islamic banking and home financing.
